Hi all really want to buy a Jaguar XJ 2016. But want to transport kids bikes. Clearly I can’t put them on the roof because of the panoramic sun roof. Is there any option I can use ?

Couple of options, first being a towbar mounted bike rack like this. Obviously you'd need to have a towbar fitted first.

second, many bike racks which will fit a hatchback or estate will also fit a saloon car, such as this. The pictures clearly show it fitted to a Merc C class saloon,

I’ve had the strap version Before and found it striped paint of the edges of the boot lid, also concerned the body work is aluminium. The tow bar option is there anyone that fits them? As tried a place online and they don’t do it

Assuming you mean fit the towbar, that would be up to you to find out, but my local auto electrician does towbars, so I'd look for one of them near you first. If you mean fitting the bike rack on the towbar, I'd imagine it wouldn't be that hard as it just clamps over the ball hitch.

Thanks, maybe towbar is the best. I was looking at the racks that have straps but had a bad experience as it took all the paint off the boot edge .
