Hi i hope you can help me?

I had a accident where i hit another car, it was my fault claim assessed by the insurance company.

My car is a Mazda enos roadster the mx5 1991. I have a 400 excess which they said would probably mean that i do not get any money from claiming. I was looking for a replacement only a few weeks back and could not find a decent one for less than a couple of thousand pounds. I am wandering what to do?

Should I take the advice of my insurance and not claim on the loss of my car?

If I do not claim on the car, will this help me with future insurance renewals?

If you were responsible & 3rd party is claiming from your insurer - you already have a claim against you. Adding your car, assuming comp policy won't make much of a difference.

How much damage to the other car, any injuries?

Your 91 Enos is worth less than £1k, retail, unless you had a clasic car insurance policy

Since you were at fault a claim has allready been recoded against you, as I assume your car is a right off you might as well see what the payout is going to be.
