Are some driver so feeble minded or ancient that they do not keep upto date with driving trends? Never seen cars where the fog light comes on driving around a bend!? Its to illuminate the corner better! Honestly, some people should be banned.

TL (Hondarable mention).
It would be worth getting your trustworthy indy to strip clean and lube the brakes properly using the correct brake grease, and a quick grease up of the exposed brake pipes wouldn't go amiss, this is most unlikely to have been done by the Honda dealer, and should be done every other year at least, though you might as well leave it now for another couple of months till the salt has gone, and don't forget to hose that salt residue off the undersides and nooks and crannies.
Treated to this regime there is no reason to ever need a single new brake caliper and your discs and pads will work more efficiently and last longer because the brakes will not be dragging or wearing unevenly, as is the case when pistons and/or slider pins/mechanisms seize when salt does it's worse.
This applies to all cars, not just your Honda obviously.

DBR - Citroen AX
Given how 90's cars are starting to become collectable your AX might be worth hanging onto/selling to a Citroen enthusiast rather than just considering it scrap.

"Finally what’s going on with Fog lights or maybe running lights going on and off as cars corner"
Apparently it's a feature on some cars to illuminate around the corners, not quite as clever as Citroen's DS 19, where the lights actually turned with the steering.
