KIA PRO-CEED CRDi 1.6 - ENGINE CUTTING OUT AT 2500RPM - RAY BRENNAN

To be brief:

Car: Kia Pro-Cee’d 1.6 Diesel D4FB engine, (Bosch injection) 2008, 137,000 miles

Problem: car cuts out at exactly 2500RPM

We have replaced fuel filter, fitted a second hand low mileage fuel rail complete with pressure regulator & pressure sensor,

We have replaced flow control valve in the pump and something similar that I can’t remember what it’s called.

Problem remains

Any ideas?

Failing crankshaft sensor/camshaft sensor.

I assume no stored codes?

How did your test plan go to warrant replacement of all these not needed parts?

You need a scanner that reads live data,

And as you have a predictable fault simply read any all live data pids when reving to 2500,

one of the readings WILL drop off.

CAS rail pressure,

Something is causing it.

Oh and stop spending cash on parts darts.
