Plenty of pics, itemise the big selling point that FSH by listing date and mileage of services, overprice it a bit to give haggle room but not too much to disinterest people, have a figure in your mind you won't drop below ie that £2200, so long as you have £2200 in your hand at the end, you can then get some money knocked off the next car (unless you are buying from a car supermaket which are usually fixed prices.
Alternatively if your car is a good one (and the A3 is a good looking popular car, what about advertising it at work or somewhere you go regularly at that £2200 trade in price, everyone's a winner, no selling fees to anyone and no odd strangers contacting you.
