OK, I'll try to help you, JoJo69.
It would appear that you have obtained the correct serial number, just check that you've noted it down correctly.
Assuming that the Keycode that elekie has given you is correct, and I've absolutely no reason to believe that it isn't, then you need to do the following in order to enter the Keycode into your radio:
Press Button #1 Eight times
Press Button #2 Four times
Press Button #3 Nine times
Press Button #4 Twice
Finally, Press Button #5 Once in order to actually enter the complete Keycode into your radio.
Did you forget the last part? Many people do!
