Peugeot 207 - O S R Wheel Cylinder Wet - Radam87

Hi all

I have the following advisory after the 207 passed its MOT:

FO/S/R Wheel cylinder wet

Brake disc worn, pitted or scored but not seriously weakened both front sides inner face (3.5.li).

Any ideas if it's an easy fix or how long it will hold up?

What is the parts function?

What is a fair price for this to be carried out.

Many thanks.

Rear cylinder usually leaks when the cyl pistons come out too far,

usually a result of worn rear shoes,

So you'll need new rear shoes and a rear wheel cylinder.

And a brake clean for the drums,

Obviously this means new rear brakes for both sides.

As to the discs it's an advisory and that can mean just that testers opinion.

Try a local garage for price as prices vary depending on where you are.
