Im sorry but I find many of the questions asked on these pages banal; I mean someone paid £300 for a 16 year old car with 225,000 miles on the clock and thinks he's entitled to money back if the garage px value was less than this? Seriously?

Surely it must be blindingly obvious that HJ and his colleagues have absolute no control over the banality level of questions they received, so just let's be grateful that they are prepared to take the time and trouble to provide such succinct, sensible, and speedy responses to all comers - and witty too in the case to which Glider refers!

I agree with Union Jack - the banality of the worries some people have can put life's strifes into perspective! Imagine if you a will, a world were we only had to worry about such trivia, this trivia replacing gloomy news about brex....... oh no I nearly did it, I nearly inserted the dreaded B word into a reply ... - have a great day, with a smile and chuckle!

In the spirit of the £300 car question.....

My 08 plate car has just developed a fault, after 8 years of ownership, a letter has fallen off of the model name on the drivers door; can I claim a full refund and return the car as not fit for purpose??

1200 quid for a clutch for a 1.2 Corsa? they don't even have a dual mass flywheel!
