Getting this code and engine immobiliser car with spanner orange light, which i have seen can be multiple things, but what i cant get my head round is how the throttle pedal activates the engine to rev? I took all the pipe work 0ff the top of the engine today and all i can see behind/below the inlet manifold is the injection pump.

i cant see a throttle valve which is one of the suggestions to clean it, the only holes in the inlet manifold are the EGR valve and the boost pressure sensor. Haynes Manual is hopeless,

when i connected to a diagnostic box i got P1125 and boost pressure solenoid valve. I changed the pierburg valve that has 2 vacuum pipe connections and a 2 pin electrical plug.

the boost valve is underneath that solenoid, have i changed the wrong part?

Ok had an eventful day today. replaced the MAF no change, replaced the boost solenoid on the back of the engine under the pump ecu, no change. The solenoid valve I fitted to the top of the engine that turned out to be the EGR valve, was in fact the rear boost lower solenoid valve, so that was a bonus. The pipe fitting on the old boost vlave must have been cracked as it came of with the pipe fairly easily.

still running the old EGR solenoid at the moment.

gets to 70 mph and then the light comes on and error code P1125 boost solenoid valve.

got into a bit of mobile diagnostics and the van is still running 155 KPa boost with the light off compared to 163 with the light on. but you can notice a diffference when driving.

found one of the vacuum pipes had a hole in it so replaced that after all sorts of tests vacuum and pressure related, on the way home the van was good for about 10 miles at 70-80 before the light came on again.

bought a new map sensor which i will fit tonight just for tha damn sake of it as a fairly cheap change.

looking like a electrical fault somewhere but the boost solenoid plug wiring goes right up behind the pump and crap nearby so that will be a ramp job i think next week maybe.

Had a strange one just now. changed the MAP sensor for the one eurocarparts supplied me which looks physicaly different, is longer and doesn't have the same fixing bracket and the warning light came on almost immediately everytime i started up and drove off. could have been that it was such a poor fit without the clamp bracket.

put the old one back on and now i am back to square one with the light coming on under full load, full throttle at around 70 mph.

Just blocked of the EGR valve with a blanking plate. I managed to break a damn union off the EGR solenoid Valve after replacing all the vacuum pipes. Light still comes on at 70 mph.

could this error 1125 be that the turbo is over boosting because the waste gate isnt shutting properly?

This is all the info from another forum, i must add that the van has had 2 turbo catridges, and a cataclicmic failure on the last putting a lot of oil into the exhaust

I know I'm resurrecting here; I was looking for info on whether or not the Y17DT can be made ULEZ compliant... I'm familiar with your issue; lived with it for years.

Did you manage to fix this or still have the car?

The same thing happens to me now. even sometimes on the highway the car jerks me and turns off, it is difficult to start when it turns off hot. It drives me crazy, I know it could be several things, today I put the machine in it and it only gave me the error p1125-3 turbo discharge valve, but I think the problem is another, I don't know if the map sensor or the isuzu 8971891361 injection pump ecu. I hope you can help me thanks.
