I'm sure if you can afford to buy a £30k+ car then I would have thought you could afford to do the right thing and and get it done properly by an Audi dealer. Saving a few quid now on top end motor can surely only lead to tears. Typical Audi. All that money and no parking sensors!
I was thinking the same thing, both parts!. We got a daihatsu sirion in 2008, it came with parking sensors as standard.
Frankly though, if parking sensors are such an issue, i'm wondering why you bought the car?
But, you can get parking sensors which dont require holes to be drilled in the bumper. or to be wired in. It is essentially a plate to which you attatch the rear and/or front number plate. There can be sensors at either side or one in the middle. The display plugs into the lighter socket, so no wiring. It is an easy DIY fit and i have seen kits on ebay at less than £30
Alternatively, you could learn to park the same way everyone used to, by knowing where the ends of your car are!
