Hello,

I have recently had nearly a thousand pounds of work done on my old renault megane. Seems crazy on such an old car, but i tested many new cars and could not get to grips with them. Apparently people hate driving the older meganes due to heavy clutches etc, but i guess i must have got to used to driving it, anyway.

after all the work i noticed that the car is driving very well however play in the gear stick, side to side, anyway got the bush and circlip from renault, for five pounds.

Does any one know how hard this is to actually fit, can it be done at home? as just want to avoid more labour charges, the garage must be sick to death of the car.

any advice greatly appreciated, i am going on a 1000 mile trip this week coming,
