Hi

Have to replace front and rear brake pads. original toyota brake discs are still ok.

Should I stick then with original Toyota OEM pads which seems to have a bit

shorten life or maybe try others OEM brands like Brembo or Ferodo.

heard the material structure in OEM other brands can affect original brake

discs ( warps or noises)

By the way should I also replace brake fluid although the exisiting one is still ok

despite being from about 2 years.

I replaced the discs and pads all round on my Saab 9-3 Aero with Mintex units sourced from Premier in Walsall by post. I'm plenty happy with them. Good bite from cold and I have to be something of a hooligan to get them fading. I got 30k out of the first fronts (car is 1625kg, so no lightweight).

I would suggest you use a well known brand like Mintex, Pagid, Ferodo, Brembo. I dare say OE ones will be well expensive.

Thanks.yes would stick with well known brands only.

Mintex and Valeo also was recommended to me. Pagid appearently are v.good too but read also they give plenty of dust during usage.

Would you then recommend to buy only Mintex pads or upgrade with Mintex discs too?

If your discs are fine I would just change the pads.

only rear discs are a bit corroded but witdh is ok.

decided to buy only pads preferably toyota
