Mercedes a160 w168 - Mileage counter - Jayv164

Just bought an a class on a w plate but you can barely see mileage counter. I believe you can change the bulb. Any ideas what type of bulb it is?

It is a 286 (bulb only)or a T286 bulb and holder.Unfortuntaely on these early A class models,half the dash trims need to be removed for access to remove the "hood " of the pod.Later models it just slides forward,much less involved.

Ok thanks. Not likely to be anything else is it? Everything else works and mileage unit is working as you can see it when sunlight shines on it

I would say that it is just the backlight bulb not working,nothing else.
