I have recently received NIP for speed driving at 52mph under 40mph restriction on motorway. I have been asked to pay £100 fine and also been offered for DAS. I have got non EU driving licence, and my driving test is been booked for 10/11, can I just pay the fine and send them the copy of my non EU licence or would I be asked for any other document after that. The only thing is I just came to know after I received the NIP when I checked on internet that Person with non EU licence can drive only for first 12 months. Is there chances that I could be prosecuted, prisoned or banned from driving for this or amount of fine be increased, Or is there a chance that once I pay fine and send them copy of my licence that won't be asked for my arrival date in U.K. Really getting panic attack since got NIP please do advise.

I think Peter's reply offers good advice - Pepipoo has been the main source of advice for speeding prosecutions for some time.

However, I think you are possibly going to be in trouble over the excess amount of time you believe you have been driving in the UK on a non-UK licence. You cannot withhold your licence when dealing with the speeding fine and it will immediately raise questions, unless you are very lucky.

I can't see this being a matter for imprisonment, but I've no idea how a situation like this is actually dealt with.

The fact that you have a driving test booked in the near future may help you, as you have shown an intention of complying with the regulations.

See what the folks at Pepipoo say, but if it were me I'd send off the documents requested and take it one step at a time.

I do realise that I am in deep trouble and on notice it says if got non EU licence send only copy of it. I really don't know what to do and had got no idea what's gonna happen

As suggested above, post the details on Pepipoo and go with their advice - you're clearly in a "damage limitation" mode as you readily acknowledge.
