Recently fixed broken wires in drivers door so drivers door central locking on fob now works. For some reason, usually as I start driving the doors automatically lock on there own. Any ideas???

Many cars (including Fords) have a feature called Anti-hijack. The doors and boot will lock as soon as you reach around 10mph. When you stop and remove the ignition key they will all unlock.

Not sure if it did unlock. I had a 51 plate mondeo ghia and dont remember this happening??

Have you checked the wiring in the passenger door?Also a low car battery can cause this problem.There is no drive away lock function on this model.

Its a 52 plate ka luxury. Checked and repaired wires between drivers door and door pillar and drivers door now works on fob. There is one wire(I think orange and black) if I connect it the locking malfunctions( levers go on and out and in and out and returns to unlocked)????
