Why do we now have to submit our e-mail address as well as our password?
So much simpler when the site remembered our logon details!

So much easier when the login box came up on most pages too, rather than having to click to a login page, thus increasing the number of clicks and page loads (which are interminable for this site).

That and the site dumping you out if you’re inactive for 10 seconds is annoying me no end. I might go to Pistonheads.

I have no idea why Cyd's experience is so different from mine.

Everything here loads up pretty much instantaneously for me and I don't get timed out.

FWIW I'm using Opera 38 (set to block ads), Ghostery and Avast Online Security, which block tracking and some other stuff. I believe blocking ads allows pages to load quicker.

Ditto, I'm fine too, on Chrome and with Adblock.

I'd suggest if people are having major problems then their browser / computer is infected or out of date, or the privacy settings need revising so that the browser remembers them.

No probs here either, Firefox/Adblock, password and name remembered.
Usefully you can now start a new sentence on the next line, where before if you did so would get a space line between automatically.

My only bugbear is when the system times you out half way through typing a long post, i have trained myself to copying any posts i make or otherwise you risk losing everything if you just press send without checking you are still logged on, infuriating when it happens.
