Just had a passenger front wheel bearing fitted for the MOT. Wife collects the car from the garage with 12 months MOT and the abs lights lit!!. (It wasn't lit before the MOT or before the wheel bearing was fitted!!). The garage agreed to take a look at it and have said their computer says there was an intermittent fault code for the abs sensor on the front passenger side but managed to clear it. But the light is still lit andf their computer is saying there is an open/short to ground fault in the sensor on the driver's side?. How can this be as all was OK until it went for the MOT and had the bearing fitted?. Is it a coincidence and should pay for a new sensor for the drivers side or am I being fobbed off by the garage because they have ballsed up by fitting the bearing the wrong way round or something?.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
