My gut sense tells me that there will massive procrastination as to whether or not to press the Lisbon "out-button". Why? --because even Boris knows that the 52% who voted out have been sold a massive pup.

You could well be right.

Can we use the 'Brexit' thread that HJ started to discuss the EU, so that it's all in one place. He started it in the Motoring section, probably because more people would see it there - so that's where it is.
