WARNING- My wife and i were subjected to a 60 minute wait for luggage yesterday at Luton after our Monarch flight touched down "on time". This is exactly what happened to us a few months ago--thus the situation clearly remains an issue. Airport blamed "operating difficulties". The arrivals area was not particularly busy at 13.00--so perhaps the staff were "at lunch"? goodness knows what this will be like in peak july/august?

Have complained to Monarch--who surely carry more weight than just me.

Of course-i suppose this is inevitable if Luton has over 50 check in desks and only two main baggage arrivals belts.
