My car is older type and does not have a 3.5mm jack, so there is no way for me to listen to stream music from my phone onto the car speakers. or hook a DAB radio. (I have used Pure Highway, but a mess of wires).
My radio is a factory fitted radio console and is part of the car's heating system.
Just wondering if anyone has used a product from Grom. They only sell the products, but I have to find someone to fit it, so I am concerned about that, as I don't want to damage the car.
They say "GROM Car Kits integrate Android® devices, portable music players, iPod®, iPhone®, USB mass storage, Bluetooth® to factory car audio systems. Designed to install with ease, made for self-installation."
I rang them up and they said they have a DAB module in development, which should be out soon, once they have tested it.
The kit connects to the car's audio and fools it into thinking it is a CD changer. So when using via Android, you can use the 'track forward and back button' on the radio console.
The 3.5mm jack offers no forward / backward control.
Just wondering if someone has used Grom products on their car or can recommend an audio dealer, which can fit for me in South East.
