UK Driving Theory test preparation - theorypass

I would like to bring to your attention that you can now prepare for the theory test completely free (using the official DVSA material).

The website is: theorypass.co.uk

This material was reproduced under a special copyright license from the DVSA.

You can prepare for car, motorcycle and LGV tests. Please inform anybody who is still spending money on freely available material.

Thanks

Hmm. No proper contact details on the website 'contact us' section (a breach of UK law).

The 'Privacy Policy' webpage copy/pasted directly from Google (even to the extent of talking about US law and what it covers).

So who exactly are you ? As you're certainly not DVLA

UK Driving Theory test preparation - focussed

RobJP- the DVLA has nothing to do with driver training or testing- fortunately.

It used to be the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) , they then merged with VOSA to become the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency)

The domain registrant is a UK limited company "Learning Bytes Limited"

Incorporated 19 October 2015

No company details or accounts filed.

10/3 Cadzow Place Edinburgh Midlothian Scotland EH7 5SN

The directors are Georgy Rybintsev and Yulia Rynintsev both Russian nationals.

I thought at first that the site was a come-on for a "book your driving test with us" scam site but the link on the site is to the UK gov site so I don't really know what their business is.

Sorry, yes. DVLA/ VOSA/DVSA, DSA- I tend to view them all as the same body, really.

I can only think that they are going to use the registered user list for some marketing purposes. However, the point is that the website does not comply with UK law.

There's a saying for websites : If you can't see what the 'product' is, then it's you.
