The 3.0 V6 diesel used by Jaguar Land Rover has it's orgins in a joint PSA-Ford project.
It is used (and has been in earlier 2.7 capacity) in numerous Jaguar, Land Rover, Citroen & Peugeot cars since 2005 and some Ford ones but not any in the UK as far as I can remember.
I think it is built in Dagenham so whilst it is built in a Ford factory you can't say it is really a Ford engine as it is a joint project.
JLR buy in all their engines (although many to their own design) apart from the latest 2.0 diesel which is a legacy of their ownership by Ford.
