Stuck for something to do on a sunny Saturday afternoon, I had a look under the engine of my Ford Focus for oil leaks. I found one or two minor ones which seem like fairly fresh oil, but there's nothing on the floor and the level doesn't appear to have dropped noticeably since the oil was last changed, in February.
If its engine oil rather than gearbox oil, are any of those leak stop fluids that you add to the engine worth trying before I take it to a garage?
The car has done 70k and hasn't missed a beat since I bought it, so even if the leak is minor I'd rather do something about it now than wait for it to get worse.
Cheers.
