Hi All

Just a random question, but as I was driving along today I noticed the car radio display change from the CD information to the word "ALARM", which flashed several times (alternating between "ALARM" and the radio present channel). Once I pressed the CD button, it appeared to go back to normal. Any ideas what this could be/mean?

The car itself appears to be running fine other than that (and a slight fluttering when the car first starts up from what sounds like near the offside front tyre/steering wheel).

Oh and the oil needs topping up.

Any help or suggestions?

The car has done 165000 miles, with a forced engine change at 90000 miles (inlet manifold and clutch changed at the same time too).
