Peugeot 206sw - Dead Battery - anumpty

Hi,

The car has been sat on the drive for a year and I cannot get into it as it's got a dead battery. The door looks are ceased for use with the key it's self. I can't get in to pull the bonnet release cable.

I've tried a coat hanger to get to the door lock - no luck, I've tried getting to the bonnet release - no luck...... I'm struggling to get into the car :(

Can anyone tell me is there a way to provide a sufficient charge to the car without access to the battery, to enable the door locks to be opened via the key fob?

Thanks in advance

a numpty

If you can get access to the alternator from underneath, you could connect a battery by jump leads to the permanent live terminal (and negative to body)

Thanks Doc, but it would appear this is beyond my ability for car maintenance.

Thanks anyway, sorry I'm a complete novice.
