Likely expensive for what it is (2* rating @ HJ):

The reg/year might help as well...

The only bad thing listed in the good/bad section there being out of date sat nav mapping and possible looks issues (which is a personal thing, all modern cars look pants to me bar Kia Optima on standard wheels), if sat nav map is all that could be found wrong with the car dunno why it only gets 2 stars.

Hi Andy

Its a 2008 Pertol Saloon with 75k, its also an auto going for £5k

In response to Gordon, I agree why would it be so bad if its just the sat nav

Thanks

That's hellishly expensive for a 'normal' car of that age.

As a comparison, a similar aged Mondeo, with reasonable (<90k) mileage, would be something like £3k.

Agreed - expensive. For example a quick peruse of AT I found a 2010 1.8 auto GS3, 22k, FSH at a main Mitsubishi dealer - £5995. Is there much difference btw a GS3 and GS4??

I think the saloons look great though. Hatchback looks a bit odd though would be more practical.

Not sure why only 2* rating. A bit of a niche brand? However the owner reviews on this site (including several 1.8 autos) are unanimously positive, which is the key thing.

HJ has replied to I assume the same question on his "What's HJ been asked?" section.

He points out that the Lancer was never a very popular car in this country, parts may/are be hard to get, and that it is expensive for such a car.

I would completely agree!
