Rover

All of the Rovers in the list are old and discontinued since the demise of MG Rover in 2005. However they’re almost all fairly decent in the security stakes, it would seem – they all have below average crime rates excepting the Metro, which has an above average rate, with a very high rate of thefts. That’s probably down to its elderly underpinnings – Metros are easy to steal for the opportunist criminal.

Rover reviews
  • Rover 200 (1995 - 1999)
Smart styling. The Vi is quick and economical, the 1.6 CVT responsive. Feels compact in town yet comfortable on the motorway.
  • Rover 400 (1995 - 1999)
Rover's version of the Honda Civic. Quite well equipped and a reasonable drive in its day.
