Audi A4 - R Reg

I saw the above car yesterday. There were a few things that the buyer had not advertised when the car was on various websites. The indicator light was broken and there were scratches here and there. We agreed a price of £750 (it was advertised at £695) as it included a up to date Bluetooth enabled stereo. I looked over the car again - and it was then I noticed that the driver's seat was ripped and the metal from the frame is visable. The foam seems to have worn. I did not buy the car as I was unsure if it would pass the MOT and also, he seemed unsure how much he should take off the agreed price. What would be a good price to agree and would the car pass the MOT? Also, if i were to buy a replacement seat - how much would it cost as I can't find information on it anywhere?

You'd have to get the seat from a scrappy and hope that since any seat for an R reg A4 would be more than 10 years old it was okay. Can't comment on the price because you failed to identify the car sufficiently.
