Why does my brake light flicker when I use my indicator?

When I turn my on my right indicator, the right brake light also flickers. Once I put my foot on the brakes while indicating, the indication gets faster. What's the issue?

It sounds as though you have an earthing problem. Check at the indicator/light assembly for loose or disconnected wires.
