Are online car dealers trustworthy?

I have ordered a Skoda 1.6 Octavia Elegance via an online dealer. The local Skoda dealer really slags the online dealer off, saying that I will not get a correctly-built new model etc. The supplier has not yet been in touch with me. Will I be treated in an honourable way by both companies?

Ask the local dealer to put this in writing, then send it to the online dealer so that they can sue him for libel.
