What's the best large executive car for under £30,000?

I would like a great family car in the large executive range. I have between £20-30,000 to spend for a new or ex-demo, but could go a bit higher if necessary. What would you recommend? I really don't want a BMW if I can help it! I'm looking at the Saab 9-5, Jaguar XF and Audi A4, A5 or A6 but I'm open to suggestion!

Yes, in this price range you will get a Jaguar XF 3.0V6 240 diesel Premium Luxury, and you won't do better than that.
