Why have the power socket and cigar lighter in the rear of my 2007 Ford Mondeo have stopped working?
For some reason, both the cigar lighter and the auxiliary power socket in the rear passenger area of my 2007 Ford Mondeo are not working. I have checked the fuses and they appear ok. Any ideas please?

Have you checked the sockets with something else, by which I mean another accessory? It may be the sat nav or its cable, or its plug, that is at fault. These sockets are usually hardwired to the battery through separate fuses from those in the fuse box of the car, so the fuses may not be those you looked at.
