What's wrong with my Nissan Almera's gearbox?
My Nissan Almera has a very noisy gearbox. The car shakes when reversing, and to select reverse gear is very difficult. In neutral it doesn't make much noise but when you put it in gear and drive it makes a noise, and when you take your foot off the accelerator it gets louder. Depressing the clutch stops the noise. Can anyone help?

Get it to a garage or transmission specialist. This is obviously something you cannot fix yourself.
