What's the cam belt change interval for my Volkswagen Touran?

Can you tell me what the cam belt change interval is for a Volkswagen Touran 1.9 SE TDI?

Volkswagen now says four years or 40,000 miles, whichever comes first. Independents say four years or 60,000 miles, and change the water pump as well.
