I've lost my son's Ford Fiesta key - how do I replace the door lock and ignition barrel?

I have lost the keys to my son's S-reg Ford Fiesta. He is due to take his test in three weeks and I am dreading telling him. I am going to have to replace the driver's door lock and ignition barrel, and I need to know how to do it.

Buy a set from a good dismantler, or get it from one of the parts-finding services.
