I'm looking for a reliable automatic car for £3500 - would you suggest the Honda Jazz?
I have been looking at buying a used car now for a few months and finally decided to go for a Corsa or a Fiesta, but when I was out today I saw a Honda Jazz and liked the look of it. What are they like and is it a good reliable car? My budget is £3500 and it has to be no bigger than a 1.4, with an automatic gearbox.

They are okay, but until recently were a bit overpriced compared to the competition. Problem areas in car-by-car breakdown. Can need new electromagnetic clutches. The best, most reliable small auto in this price bracket is an old shape Toyota Yaris 1.3 4-speed torque converter auto. And they do more than 40mpg.
