Which of these two Volkswagen Polos should I buy?

I've seen and test driven a Volkswagen Polo 1.4S 52 with 48,000 miles. It's up for £3495, has a full service history, one owner and is HPI clear. Is £3300 reasonable? I've also seen a Volkswagen Polo 1.4SW 75 2003 (03 reg) hatchback. It has 68,743 miles and is £3690. I drove the first one today - it felt smooth but the clutch biting point seems a little high. Would I get used to this? Also it doesn't have remote central locking as standard. Could I install this for a reasonable price?

I would not get beguiled into buying a Polo anyway. In my view they are all too expensive and the 1.4 has numerous known engine problems. See car-by-car breakdown. You'll be better off with a Fiesta 1.25.
