My Toyota Camry has an idling problem - is it an electrical or mechanical fault?

I have got a Toyota Camry VVT automatic 2004 that tends to have a misfire. I have changed the plugs and tested the coil packs and found the number two piston to be the reason for that. Is the problem electrical or mechanical?

Do you mean number two cylinder (not piston)? If you suspect that it is at fault then you need to carry out a compression test on that cylinder. This will then tell you if there is a fault inside the cylinder. If the compression is good then the fault will lie outside, i.e. the fuel or electrical system associated with that cylinder.
