When will VWG make new engines?
As I wouldn't buy any of the current ones, when will VWG make new engines?

Actually VAG started replacing the NOx emitting EA189 diesel engines with the exceptionally low NOx EA288 manifold in head diesels from late 2012, but only new models got them from that date. All Mk VII Golf, Audi A3, SEAT Leon and Skoda Octavia got them and all subsequent new models.
