Information on the Volkswagen Sharan 2.0 emissions fix
The 2014 Volkswagen Sharan 2.0 TDI fix is now available and the letter says there will be increased AdBlue use and 5 free refills will be offered. I phoned Volkswagen and pressed them for more info, they told me fuel line dampers will be fitted to injectors along with software update. When I asked directly if I would loose low rev torque the adviser would not answer but pointed out the update is optional and not to get it done if I didn't want to. I won't.

Many thanks. Will add to carbycar. We're hearing that AdBlue heaters are failing on these, so yet another unreliable piece of emissions control kit.
