Should I buy a petrol or diesel Ford Mondeo estate?
Would you recommend a Ford Mondeo Mk lll estate and, if so, petrol or diesel? I'm doing about 10,000 miles a year, and next year will be driving to Europe around 5500 miles for our wedding so we need something comfortable and reliable in the same time. Our budget is about £2000.

Yes. None of the Mk III Mondeo diesels had DPFs and all of the engines were chain cam, so a diesel is a safer choice than a diesel with a DPF, but it's obviously harder to find one that isn't already starship mileage and knackered.
