Do you think there should be a setting so headlights are always on?
In recent misty weather the number of people without lights, or sidelights, on amazed me. From a safety perspective I believe that there should be one setting for lights on or off. If on and the ignition is on then headlights should come on at all times. With the ignition off and the lightswitch on then sidelights only would be displayed. This would ensure that at all times when the vehicle is moving and the light switch is on, headlights would always be displayed. Is this something you agree with and could support?

Pretty simple really. All new cars have DRLs, but there is a need for them to also show at the back, which is being addressed by some manufacturers. Sidelights are not legal to drive on and many manufacturers have deleted them.
