Which £20k SUV provides the best ride comfort?

Having been a Honda Jazz owner for 12 years, I recently travelled in an eight year old SUV and realised that I have been missing out on comfort. I hope to have about £20K to spend in the new year and could trade-in my Jazz on top of that. What do you recommend I buy? Priorities are: comfort, high seating, small SUV, petrol (or hybrid) and automatic gearbox.

Peugeot 2008 1.2 PureTech 110 EAT6 or a Suzuki Vitara S 1.4T Boosterjet auto.
