Need a 4x4 with a flat loadspace
I'm looking to buy a new or nearly new 4x4 with a genuinely flat loadspace when the rear seats are folded down. I currently have a 2004 Toyota RAV4 with an external spare wheel and removable rear seats, which is perfect. Can you recommend a suitable replacement?

I can't think of any current 4x4 that has the same sort of loadspace as the old SUVs with side opening back doors and tumble folding rear seats. In a Honda HR-V the seats fold low and flat but it isn't a 4x4. In a Renault Kadjar it's reasonably flat but, like everything else, the load deck is high and the rear seatbacks fold onto the squabs leaving a slight angle to the load deck.
