HELP! Just discovered I'm the second owner of a 'new' car. What can I do?
We bought a new MX5 from a dealer mazda 30/09/16.
We went in to buy a new car whet through the sales patter never asked for any discount or add ons as we liked car and wanted it new. We bought paid signed for finance. £20595. list price. We pick car up 4 days later, Registration comes 7 days later we file it. On the 28/10/16 I see a report on dealers selling pre reg car.
I don't know what made me look at registration doc but I did and find we are the second owner of car yes its a pre reg and we were not told. talked with sales team they say he did. What can I do?

The problem with pre-reg is when the car remains registered to someone else for 3-6 months of your ownership due to the dealer getting a fleet discount. Not the case with your car. Possibly a mistake. Possibly a cancelled order. Nothing to worry about.
