Pre registered cars - which one for me?

I am looking to buy a pre registered car, I understand that dealers often registrar cars approaching end of the financial year and then discount.
Where should I look and would you recommend any makes for a Golf size car five-door?

Just keep an eye on the newspapers and the Internet. Important to buy dealer pre-registered stock from a dealer and not from someone who has pre-registered the car onto a fleet. It is vital that you get the V5C with your name on it as the 2nd registered keeper within a month of purchasing the car (a month to allow for DVLA delays). A KIA cee'd is decent enough and has the best warranty. Nothing wrong with the current range of VW Golfs, SEAT Leons and Skoda Octavias as long as not automatic. Vauxhall Astras very good now and often heavily discounted.
