Skoda Yeti battery problems

I purchased a new Skoda Yeti last year, but have experienced problems with the battery and engine start/stop ever since. The dealer recharged the battery and it fixed the problem for a while, but in recent weeks the problems with an occasional flat battery and non-working start/stop returned.

This car often stands for a few days at a time in our garaged unlocked and I have turned off the lights, radio and boot light. I have checked the voltage after use but it seldom registers over 12.1 volts and after standing 48 hours may be as low as 11.8 volts. Any idea what the fault could be?

You say the car is left unlocked in the garage. That's the problem. Some functions such as the Bluetooth then remain live and it will constantly be searching for a paired phone. Lock the car and the problem should disappear.
