Need a family friendly car
A friend of mine needs to replace her ageing Mercedes-Benz E-Class saloon. She wants something that's family friendly, with space for her three grandchildren.
She is looking for a quality, practical vehicle that is not too big to drive around in when she is on her own. An auto gearbox, five-door and three Isofix points on the back seats are a must. It must also be a petrol. Mercedes-Benz B-Class springs to mind. What do you suggest?

Not too keen on the B-Class. Doesn't seem to me to have the quality that a Mercedes should have. Citroen C4 Picasso probably better: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/citroen/citroen-c4.../ That is an older test, but it's now available with the EAT6 torque converter auto. Or wait for the new Peugeot 3008.
