What's the grinding noise coming from my 2008 Toyota Corolla Verso?
I'm getting a grinding noise from my 2008 Toyota Corolla Verso. I don't think it's the engine as the grinding/rubbing noise does not relate to engine revs and is entirely absent when driven slowly, or when the car is stationary and the engine is revved. Neither is it related to the clutch, as the noise does not vary whether the clutch is engaged or not. Any ideas?

Might be a wheel bearing.
