Which tyres are best for the C-MAX?
We run a Ford C-MAX as the main family car on 215/50 R17 95W ContiSportContact 3s. I need to replace the fronts and noticed ContiSportContact 5s are marginally cheaper (£10 a tyre), quieter, more efficient and perform better in the wet.
Is it advisable to stick to the 3s all round or can I reasonably go with the 5s and eventually replace the rears with the same?
Also worth a mention, I use tyresonthedrive.com who are always on time, professional and priced very competitively. I highly recommend them.

We don't know the difference between ContiSportContact 3s and ContiSportContact 5s. Guess the 5s are newer. Should be no problem mixing them front to back, But my recommendation is Michelin Cross Climate 215/50 R17 95W XL for a softer ride, better steering feel, better handling, quieter, good in winter conditions as well as summer and no sacrifice in wear of fuel economy. Will put tyresonthedrive.com in the Useful Websites list.
